Spelbeschrijving

Acronia is a side-scrolling action/shooter platform game that combines elements from Duke Nukem, Bio Menace and Space Chase: City Under Siege with a story vaguely resembling that in DOOM or Half-Life.

The player controls members from a mercenary team assigned to a remote research facility in the jungle where an experiment or two goes wrong, populating the entire base with bloodthirsty mutants. It's now up to you to get out alive and hopefully also put an end to this rampant disturbance. The player can switch between characters at any time, each of them having unique stats and abilities, like in Tom Hall's DOOM Bible or Rise of the Triad.

Acronia is still under development, so it's somewhat rough around the edges in many aspects, but the playable demo includes five levels to play and many secrets.
