Spelbeschrijving

Gladius is a decent-looking graphical roguelike/dungeon crawler. The player controls an adventurer sent into the fortress of an evil witch who was defeated a long time ago, but something new is brewing down there. There are several races and classes available, and you can wield various weapons and cast spells if the class permits that. The player character does not seem to suffer from hunger, but does not recover health points when resting either.

The game offers simple but functional visuals, sometimes animated, and gameplay is fairly straightforward: fight everything that moves, pick up every item and search every room for valuables, and try to survive for as long as possible.

Gladius was released as freeware.

Cheats

The code to cheat is simply to name your player 'cheat' or have 'cheat' as some part of your players name. Use the letter 'V' to cast spells instead of 'C'.
