Spelbeschrijving

Rudi the Rat is a rather simple first-person maze game visually similar to Wolfenstein 3D. The player controls a rat that must find the exit, but also find and eat cheese along the way in order not to starve.

There are acid pools in the maze which mean instant game over if you step into one, but you can find blue powerups that provide temporary protection from all harm. There is also green cheese that makes the rat even more hungry, as a type of "power-down".

Rudi the Rat was made by students of the Technical University of Vienna in 1996 as part of their work in the Computer Graphics Lab at the Faculty of Informatics. However, the game does not come with any documentation, so the identity of the authors cannot be established.
