This is a loose remake of the original Sopwith, with similar gameplay and controls, but also higher-resolution graphics, background music and digitized sound effects.

Once the game stars, your mission is to take off and destroy every ground target on the map, except for your airfield's radar tower. There are no enemy planes or birds, but the game is hard enough as it is, for the plane controls way less smoothly than in David Clark's original game.

Sopwith 2002 is a cross-platform game available for DOS, Windows and Linux.
