Spelbeschrijving

Galaktikon is a turn-based 4x space strategy game not unlike Master of Orion. The player controls a budding space empire and must build and expand their influence in a ranodmly-generated galaxy populated by nine other hostile alien species.

The game was primarily designed to be played by several users in hot-seat mode, but it still features computer opponents and may be played solo as well. There are several difficulty settings and a multitude of options as you develop the economy, build up fleets and conquer more planets. A unique feature of this game are first-person-view arcade-style 3D battles rendered with wireframe graphics where the player must fire on incoming enemies. The visuals are simple but functional, and the mouse-driven menus are easy to navigate.

Galaktikon was originally marketed as shareware, but currently full registered version is available as a free download from the author's itch.io page.
